Dust

Cities are dust
See how they crumble and they turn into rust
Cities are sand
Their towers tumble and return the the land
They are are as nothing
Castles of sandgrains

People are dust
Without direction they will blow where they must
People are sand
Their friendships crumble and they fall through your hand
They live for nothing
Formless as water

But nature is kind
She greets the stranger like a long-lost friend
And you will find
The darkest winter has a sunny end
If you've a mind
Lean upon her shoulder, she will not bend
All you who walk blind
Remember nature is kind

Words are all dust
They are deceivers and betrayers of trust
Language is lame
All conversation is a zero-sum game
Words are worth nothing
Words are for children
